  • The mehendi / henna paste dries within 20-30 minutes. 
  •  Gently tab lemon-sugar mix on the design.
  •  Do not wash your hands. 
  •  Keep the paste for 7-8 hrs. 
  •  Do not wash your hands/feet, just peel off the paste from your hands with spoon or spatula. 
  •  To remove stickiness apply baby oil and clean your hands and feet with paper towel, but do not wash your hands and feet. 
  •  Put 12-15 cloves on a pan & warm up your hands from far with the cloves steam – smoke, for 10 – 15 minutes.
  • To get better color apply Vicks balm or Tiger balm on your hands, but do not wash your hands.
  • The color turns orange in the beginning & later turns to Burgundy after few hours.
  • The color of mehendi also differs on individuals which depends on one’s body heat and how well one takes care of mehendi.
